Not having the internet at home can be a bit of a disadvantage being a student, so i was delighted to hear of a new internet cafe opening so close to home. So i went along to the opening to check it out, i even got some autographs from the Hartlepool United players who were there to open it. Being as desperate as i was to have somewhere to do work, anything with an internet connection would have done, so i was delighted to see theres much more to it. They offer a well priced wireless service, which is perfect for me as i can bring in my own laptop. They serve delicious cappuccinos, have cool tunes playing in the backround and pleasant staff. The place looks really modern too, with a good relaxed atmosphere. I'd say it's really worth checking out, it's not just for people who don't have the internet at home. They can fax and scan and burn CD's and all sorts. Their slogan in the shop was 'an office for the public' = i agree.
