Vue Cinema is in a very good location in the centre of town it has KFC and pizza Hut either side, the mariana with a good choice of restaurants and night life is just a short walk away it is also close to the bingo and historic quay museum. In the cinema there is a large waiting area were you buy your tickets which also sells the usual popcorn, ice cream, sweets, drinks. There are different prices for evening and day and will be a lot quieter during weekdays. They also have Kids Am on saturday and sunday which shows a different film each week that is not necessarily currently showing at the cinema, it is only £1.50 per child and a adult goes free with each child you can check out there website for more information on this.

This cinema has many things to recommend it. Located next to Pizza Hut and KFC, and across the road from Gala Bingo, it is by far the least busy cinema in the area. Screenings are rarely full, although it does occasionally happen with very popular films. The queue to buy tickets is not often very long, although this has increased since tickets have started being sold in the same place as food. Also, the cinema itself is fairly new, meaning there is lots of legroom in seats, and a good view is almost guaranteed. The usual variety of food can be found - boxes of minstrels, malteasers, revels etc., hotdogs, nachos, popcorn and a pick and mix, as well as a recent addition of a Ben and Jerry’s Ice Cream stand, selling B&J ice-cream with all sorts of delicious toppings. Discount vouchers are given upon purchasing tickets. They are valid for a limited time, but offer a substantial discount. The cinema also participates in Orange Wednesdays.

Formally a Warner Village cinema, the Vue at the Marinia in Hartlepool features 7 screens with just over1800 seats, all with stadium seating and Dolby Digital Sound, the largest seats 431 people the smallest 160.The seating is of high standard and has a good deal of leg room. The consessions stand is just after the ticket booths and features standard cinema fare as nachos popcorn etc.In close proximity is a KFC and Asda Superstore, next to the cinema is a Pizza Hut. The cinema is within walking distance of Hartlepool Town Centre, for a drink perhaps berore/afer a movieThe cinema does get very busy at weekend evenings so it is advisable to book in advance either via web or phoneInfrared hearing system installed at Box Office and in all screens plus Audio description facilities are available on selected films in screen 6, but please check with cinema for what is showing and at what time
