Brief business description

My name is Dave Shaw. I have been working and training dogs for 30 years in obedience, working trials and agility. I am also a championship accredited judge for obedience by the Kennel Club and a member of the Kennel Clubs Accreditation Scheme for Instructors in Dog Training and Canine Behaviour also a member of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers and my club is also a Listed Club for The Kennel Club Good Citizen Dog Scheme.

Dog-Positive Training.

I would recommend Dave's training classes to anyone. 110%. Dave is very friendly and easy going but disciplined with the dogs. He is fantastic with all breeds. It does not matter how badly behaved your dog is Dave will sort the problem in no time and give you all the support and advise you will need. I thoroughly enjoyed the training sessions I attended with my German Shepherd Mikka. Brilliant trainer!

I have been to Dave's classes for 4 weeks with my Airedale pup Rosie. Airedales are renowned for wanting their own way (this is my fourth one) and have a very strong character. Rosie is starting to walk well on the lead and her behaviour is getting better thanks to Dave's input. Well worth attending!

Funny positive trainer

I have attended 4 of Daves classes so far with my now 7 month old minature yorkshire terrier. I came to Dave as I was sick of chasing Emily (my dog) everytime one of my three children opened the front door. She also is not quite house trained.I have a very busy household so cannot devote as much time as I would like to Emily but you can already see a difference! Strangers have stopped me on the street and commented on how much she has changed! Not telling us were we're going on the lead! Dave is absolutely amazing with the dogs, as soon as he has hold of the leashes the dogs instantly change! Its so funny to watch. I can not recommend Dave Shaw enough. Great work!
